The Origins
Waveguard began as a specialized German research and engineering firm with a singular focus: mitigating the effects of modern ambient radiation through innovative depolarization technology. Operating out of Germany, the original engineering team developed what would become known as "Qi Technology"—a passive system designed to harmonize electromagnetic fields (EMF) without requiring external power or batteries.
Their rigorous engineering approach led to the creation of their core product line, including the portable Qi-Me, the versatile Qi-Shield, and the comprehensive Qi-Home Cell and Qi-Max systems, setting a new standard for passive signal isolation and digital privacy coverage.
A New Chapter in the US
Recognizing the exceptional quality and potential of Waveguard's proprietary technology, the company's intellectual property and operations were acquired by Nuki USA, LLC in 2024. This strategic move relocated Waveguard's operations to the United States, allowing the technology to reach a broader audience while maintaining the stringent German engineering standards that defined its origin.
